ABOUT US
The Nashville Huskers group was officially formed in 2009 by Emily Fay, with our first watch party at the former Closing Bell on Demonbreun Street. It was our hope that 20 people would show up to the first game, but to our pleasant surprise 80 diehard Husker fans showed up to cheer on the team. Little did we realize that the Nashville Huskers would become the strong and vibrant group it has become over the past few years!
In 2011, the Nashville Huskers became the 67th chapter of the Nebraska Alumni Association! Our banner is proudly displayed in the North End zone of Memorial Stadium.
In 2016, the Nashville Huskers teamed with the Nebraska Alumni Association to welcome thousands of Big Red fans to Nashville for the Music City Bowl. Even though the Huskers lost the game, the Nashville Huskers experienced a tremendous amount of pride hosting the team and Nebraska's great fans in our city!
Beyond game day fun, The Nashville Huskers have also organized an annual scholarship fund, which is made possible through the support of our members. Each year proceeds from membership dues, merchandise, and raffle ticket sales help fund scholarship opportunities for current UNL students.
The Nashville Huskers' success has been made possible by a dedicated group of volunteers.
